- Oh boy... and so came the stomach flu, a.k.a. gastroenteritis. This is caused by a virus and recent years I have had this once a year, usually around December-January. Normally I vomit and have diarrhea for about 3-4 hours after which a few hours of fever follows and then its over (well, you have to be in "quarantine" for at least 36-48 hours after that so you don't spread the infection).
Anyway, this year I vomited and had diarrhea for almost 8 straight hours, and needless to say I got pretty emptied. Right now, I am feeling much, much better, almost well, in fact, although weak and I haven't eaten in 36 hours, which I am about to do right after this.
And about the diarrhea, I am the sort of person who buy the cheapest toilet paper I can find - I mean, you wipe your ass with it, so... - and this sort I buy is, after about 4-5 hours of wiping, like sandpaper, so you can imagine the status of my ass-crack... or, no, please don't imagine that. Let me just say that I am somewhat soar in my rear today.
Until next years infection...
